One thousand in a house – The passage

Thousand people in a house is not a particularly attractive sight to behold and this was not an exception. People kept on pouring in even after the carrying capacity was reached. In the ensuing chaos; vandalism, hooliganism, and anarchy were rife. The whole place reeked of Dorritos and Vodka. The goons sprayed soap all over the place to clean it up. Unfortunately, however, they didn’t realise it would foam up the place. The noise was deafening, you couldn’t even hear your thoughts. The culprits of this were fighting, wailing all the way to heavy metal rock music. In all, the place resembled a city centre stuck by crazed party-goers.

Tips to improve story development skills

  • Never look for new ideas/plot
  • Get insights from life experiences
  • Expression of the character of characters
  • focus on developing details
  • Seamless transition from scene to scene
  • Explore new vocabularies
  • There should be consistency in the Point Of View of narration
  • If there is a need to change the perspective take note of the person and speech.
