Wow, today was an awful day. Well, you might ask why?
Let me explain …
Comparison, comparison, comparison and it becomes too tiring.
You see, when people always compare you, saying you should be like her/him, walk like her/him, speak like her/him, help like her/him it becomes tiring keeping up with expectations.
My journey started 3 months age and it has been a rollercoaster ride of experimenting and learning. Though it’s just 3 months still I have a whole bag of treasure to share as tips to have a perfect life as a teenager. Shhh… do not tell it to anyone, it’s a secret, but not anymore.
Make sure you read it until the end to know the best tip as I consider it so.
1. First things first: MAKE TIME TO HELP OTHERS
Volunteering, helping your parents, grandparents, and helping others not only gives you a good name in the society and a load of praises for being well behaved and disciplined it also improves your skill sets. Doing chores at home or joining a volunteering club creates perfection in your life bringing peace, happiness and a whole lot of satisfaction.
2. Looking at school as a chance and a place to learn, rather than a burden.
Education is the key to success. Education is, and always will be the way to achieve something that you want or dream of. You may have a lot of struggles at school doing a whole lot of errands but, guess what, once you go through it your hard work and struggle always pay off. We often fail to understand that we have gained a good number of skills and life lessons through those hard times.
3. Have some “ME TIME”
Teenagers often feel like they have 10,000 things every 24 hours. Well, I understand because I feel the same way. But if you put your happiness before everything, it is sorted. Try to calm yourself by listening to music, walking, getting some fresh air or just sitting alone by watching the sky and counting the stars. Learn to prioritize “YOURSELF”.
This is one of the best ways to tune yourself and your goals.
4. Put your negative thoughts aside and look out for the positives
Stop asking what if? questions, No one can completely escape from bad thoughts and that is okay. Let’s just stop wallowing about them and go to the next thing thinking positively. I know that is hard, but we have to go through it, especially in the teenage phase. Let’s say that you flunked your math test. You failed to take it seriously, it’s time to learn from past mistakes, this helps you to improve your grades.
It’s time for the final and my favorite tip
5. Not everyone is perfect or is their life
Stop saying she has a better life than mine, instead be happy with what you have. I get it, bad luck, misunderstandings, or depression but believe in yourself, that you can go through it at the end of the day
DON’T LET ANYONE JUDGE US BECAUSE WE WERE BORN TO BE AWESOME NOT PERFECT
Though the whole bantering in this blog would make you feel like listening to just another lecture, this is the reality. Now do a quick read again and don’t bother to thank me.This blog,
I am sure it is gonna change your life. I would say this is the best lecture you’ve heard. Trust me it’s gonna be worth it and don’t forget to mention which was your favorite tip.
With all that you have read over the weeks, you must be waiting to see what’s up next. Just wait and see. Adios.
