As we know, humans are a part of nature. But are we natural??
We all must agree that nature is a beautiful thing; beyond all its beauty, it plays a very crucial role in the survival of humans. Every little part of nature coordinates together to manage equilibrium.
How many of us have observed nature (just enjoying it is different)? When we take a little stroll out there what do we do, scroll Instagram?, oh I know, we take pictures of plants and vines and post them online with a tag “# love nature”. Now what I want you to do is when you take a walk don’t use your phone, just feel the breeze and observe it. Trust me it can make a difference in you.
Now coming to the actual point of the blog, most of us don’t realize how much we resemble nature and that destroying nature is equal to destroying ourselves. We go through various phases in our life and some of them could be hard. We’ve got to hold on together and stay encouraged and motivated through it. It is the same for the roots? It’s not that different from ours, they have seasons. They hold to their roots and get through it, not every season is favourable to them. They have to shed their leaves and wait for the time to grow back. This is one of the greatest life lessons they teach us.
Growing up as a young kid I was not allowed to play video games or even sit and scroll the mobile phone. My mom ensured that I went out to play with my friends from the neighbourhood. Since the holidays are during summer and it tends to be hot outside we won’t be able to play outside during the day. We would wake up early every morning around 5 am and play. That’s when the nature show starts. The sun starts to peek out showing off its vibrant rays. I believe the most optimistic thing in the entire universe is the Sun. It rises giving light and life to the world no matter what. I wonder where it finds the motivation to wake up every morning and shine like it never fades. What would a day without sunlight be like? We need to understand that finding motivation to start a day with a smile is one of the best qualities a person can have. Sadly, unlike the sun, we are not noticed or not everyone is in the limelight, but that doesn’t make us any lesser than who we are.
The most important thing in life, apart from money, and the people we surround ourselves with, is balance. Most people tend to not have it at times. Finding balance can be challenging but once we get the hang of it, we become better. Imagine having a whole year of summer or a whole year of winter. This could be disastrous and completely not suitable for anyone, here it’s about balance, having a balance in everything. They say “Too much of anything is good for nothing”. The nature highlights the importance of having a touch of everything in life, whether it’s good or bad.
The only thing that doesn’t change is the change and the fittest survives through it. Nature demonstrates that change is constant and adapting ourselves to the change is the key to survival. Even if it’s hard, we don’t have another choice. Changes bring the best out of us, we need to learn to embrace the change and grow with it. Natural processes, like the growth of a small plant to a big tree or the formation of a mountain, take time. These processes teach us the importance of patience that we need during a change. Nature adapts itself to change quickly even though it could be hard sometimes. Animals and plants evolve through time to adapt their selves to survive in the surrounding environment. This teaches us another important lesson resilience and adaptability in the face of challenges.
Nature operates in cycles, like seasons and life and death. It shows us the significance of renewal and tells us the importance of letting go of old things and experiencing the new in life. We understand that even if letting go is hard, it is the pathway to new beginnings. Nature exhibits cooperation and competition, this teaches us about working together as a team and also strive for our dreams and personal goals at the same time. Most parts of nature show us simplicity and efficiency, this teaches us to learn to be simple and feel sufficient with what we have. It teaches us to find beauty in little things and appreciate the beauty within us.
A clear example that human is nearly nothing without the presence of nature is that a lot of human inventions are inspired by natural existence. For instance, the fastest train in the world, the Shanghai maglev, was designed according to the structure of a kingfisher bird. Nature with its endless wisdom and beauty provides us with profound lessons that help us transform and lead a better life. From resilience and adaptation to balance and harmony, the natural world is a master teacher. When we learn to embrace and be grateful for the lessons, we can cultivate a deeper connection to the environment and within ourselves. As we lead our daily lives, let us remember to observe and learn from the intricate chain of life around us.
