Mango Infused desiccated coconut and milk powder Balls

Ingredients

Desiccated Coconut                                                 –         250 grams

Sugar                                                                       –         100 grams

Milk Powder                                                            –         200 grams

A ripe mango                                                           –         1 (cut into small cubes)

Procedure

Step 1 :

  • In a bowl add 2:1 ratio of sugar to water and heat the same until it reaches the boiling point.
  • Keep stirring the mixture until a slimy texture.
  • Allow the mixture to cool

Step 2 :

  •   Pre-heat the frying pan and add the desiccated coconut to the same.
  •   Fry until the coconut turns brownish and add the sugar syrup as required.
  •   Gradually add the milk powder and stir the mixture till the vapour evaporates.
  •   Allow the mixture to cool.

Step 3 :

Roll the mixture into balls and infuse a piece of mango in each . Garnish the balls by sprinkling the desiccated coconut.
